LOS ANGELES DRAMA CRITICS CIRCLE ANNOUNCES NOMINATIONS FOR 35TH ANNUAL AWARDS SHOW

The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle has announced its nominations and special awards for excellence in Los Angeles and Orange County theatre for the year 2003. The 35th Annual Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Awards ceremony will take place Sunday, 4 April, at 7:30 p.m. at the Coronet Theatre, located at 366 N. LaCienega Blvd., West Hollywood. Tickets are $35. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. for socializing, a no-host bar, and a light buffet. For tickets, call 323/993-8695.
The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle was founded in 1969. It is dedicated to excellence in theatrical criticism, and to the encouragement and improvement of theatre in Greater Los Angeles. The 2004 membership is made up of 21 critics who review theatre for approximately 20 different websites, radio stations, and newspapers and magazines published on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, and quarterly basis.
Last year, the 21 members of the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle attended more than 2100 performances across Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
